Interesting to see a webcam like device in the picture.I am assuming it was to represent the cross-section of the eye?

btw, just stumbled upon this blog.Interesting posts you have here.Especially loved your Pakistan posts.I have always wanted to visit the place but obvious problems have kept me from doing that.Hope to do it someday...

Heh, hadn't thought about a webcam; yes, it is a plastic model of an eye. Thank you!

I'd like that kidney model for my wall. It looks like a trophy of some eyeless alien space creature, the kidneys representing a sensory organ as yet unknown to Science.

Ah Nancy, there you are, back in blogspace. I had given up your blog for good until I ran into your comment regarding the No Impact Couple on NYT. So, out of curiousity, I thought I'd check one last time, and Voila, here you are, kidneys, webcam, and all! :-)

I love the fashion of the 60's - the starched white shirts, khaki's and the Fonz-like hair-do's.

Good to have you back.

Hi Joel, Hi LaVieQ - nice to see you. My blog is tottering, but I can't seem to pull the plug out altogether.

is that a webcam between the two objects depicting human body parts in the second pic?

a webcam in 1965 is sure too scientific!
